GMA T.33 supercar sells out a week after reveal

A week after its launch, all 100 examples of Gordon Murray Automotive’s T.33 supercar have already been spoken for.

After taking the wraps off its second all-new model,

Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) – founded by McLaren F1 supercar and legendary race car designer Gordon Murray – has confirmed that its new T.33 supercar has already sold out.

The ‘entry-level’ offering in the brand’s line-up starts at approximately $AU2.6 million. GMA says the two-seater was designed to deliver the ultimate combination of performance, comfort, and usability.

“With the T.33 – our second all-new car – we gave ourselves a very clear brief: to create another timeless design,” said GMA founder and CEO, Professor Gordon Murray.

“This is a car where comfort, effortless performance and day to day usability are even more front and centre in its character,” he added.

The supercar packs the same engine as the larger T.50 – a 3.9-litre Cosworth V12, but has a reduced rev limit and a lowered torque curve.

The engine provides 452kW at 10,500rpm and 451Nm at 9000rpm, and delivers 75 per cent of its peak torque value from just 2500rpm.

The vehicle is set to be homologated worldwide and will be available in right and left-hand drive.

The T.33 is the last non-hybrid vehicle the company plans to build, with production starting in 2024.
