2022 Nissan Navara Warrior hits the road, first 200 cars delivered

The first 200 examples of the second-generation Nissan Navara Warrior ute have arrived in showrooms and already hit the road.

Customers who got in the queue early are already behind the wheel of the 2022 Nissan Navara Warrior.

Approximately 200 examples of the second-generation Nissan Navara Warrior have been delivered to dealers and customers over the past four weeks after production started to ramp up last month.

While Nissan continues to struggle with stock shortages that have crippled the automotive industry, the company has managed to get about 200 examples of its flagship pick-up – a little more than one per dealer – out the door and in driveways.

The Nissan Navara Warrior flagship is shipped to Australia before local modifications are fitted locally and then trucked to dealers.

In addition to the additional safety tech that came with the recent Nissan Navara upgrade, the Warrior gains tougher suspension, off-road tyres, a hoopless bullbar, LED high beam lighting, and a tow bar designed to improve ground clearance and departure angles when off-road.

Nissan Australia is hosting media test drives this week after travel restrictions delayed the original preview drive.

Drive impressions have been embargoed until 10am on 8 December 2021.
