Bentley Mulsanne Design Series by Mulliner revealed ahead of Frankfurt debut
The Bentley Mulsanne Design Series by Mulliner – yes that’s quite a mouthful – has been revealed ahead of its debut at this week’s Frankfurt motor show.
Set to be displayed alongside the new-generation Continental GT, the Mulsanne Design Series is “inspired by the latest trends in high-end interior design and fashion” and available in three signature Mulliner colours; King Fisher blue (pictured), Metallic Silver and Metallic Bronze.
Highlighting the special appointments include an all-new tessellated coloured carbon-fibre trim (above), which the company says draws inspiration from high-tech sportswear, accented by contrasting highlights that match the exterior colour.
The exterior is also distinguished from ‘standard’ Bentley Mulsannes by its gloss-black treatments to the front grille, side vents, window surrounds and ‘Flying B’ bonnet mascot, along with 21-inch Speed alloy wheels that feature a bespoke finish.
Mulliner will also use the Frankfurt motor show to debut a one-off version of the Flying Spur V8 S, which features a three-tone interior colour scheme that combines Portland, Porpoise and white leather trims that pays tribute to the classic coachbuilding era, along with white diamond-quilted stitching on the seats..
There are no images, though the company has confirmed the exterior is finished in a dual-tone Light Windsor Blue over Dark Windsor Blue, accented by a white fine-line.
