2024 Peugeot e-Expert electric van coming to Australia next year

French car-maker Peugeot will add the e-Expert to its electric van line-up in Australia next year, following the recent arrival of the Peugeot e-Partner city van.

There will be a wider choice of electric vans in Australia next year after French automaker Peugeot announced it plans to introduce the e-Expert large van alongside the just-released e-Partner small van – and the super-large e-Boxer could follow.

The boss of Peugeot Australia, Kate Gillis, told media last week the distributor planned to launch the Peugeot e-Expert locally in 2024.

“We are working with the factory right now making sure we’ve got the right specification for this market,” the executive said.

The company has just launched the Peugeot e-Partner city van in Australia – three years after Europe – in one model grade, a long-wheelbase low-roof.

Peugeot Australia is expected to also offer a single variant of the e-Expert, as is the case with the Ford E-Transit, LDV e-Deliver 9 and Mercedes-Benz eVito, all of which come in one model grade.

Peugeot Australia declined to offer any further details about the e-Expert.
