Plug-in for Drive TV Season 5 coming this Sunday

We’re back on TV from Sunday 18 June at 1pm AEST for an adventure-filled season of Drive TV.

Set your reminders as Drive TV is back in your lounge room this Sunday 18 June from 1pm AEST on Channel 9.

Season 4 of Drive TV  featured 10 episodes dedicated to electric (and plug-in hybrid) cars. While we enjoyed the challenge of piloting EVs in regional areas, we’re excited to take on an all-new task for Season 5.

This season focuses on great Australian adventures as our team embarks on a variety of road trips which will demonstrate everything this varied country has to offer – from suburbia to desert.

We’ve mapped out ten spectacular drives suited to everyone and every schedule. Whether you want to take the family on a weekend getaway or are pining for a solo day trip, we’ve got you covered.

Join the Drive team as we head off-road in the Victorian High Country, tackle the Simpson Desert, search for clear skies through the Barossa Valley, and experience off-the-grid living in Central New South Wales. As always, stopping points and our top tips will be published here on the Drive.com.au website for easy reference.

Of course, each adventure is conquered by piloting some of Australia’s most popular cars, including the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series, Isuzu D-Max, Suzuki Jimny, MG ZS, and Ford Ranger, to name a few.

“Drive TV is first and foremost about the love of cars, but also the anticipation of where our cars take us, and this season we’re planning on showing you some of the most adventurous things you can do without having to go too far off the beaten track.”, said Trent Nikolic, host and Managing Editor of Drive.com.au.

Australia has some amazing sights, and all you need to find them is a sense of adventure.

To kick off Season 5, Emma takes the Isuzu D-Max to the Victorian High Country to tackle one of Australia’s most iconic and spectacular trails – the Blue Rag Range Track.

Tune in on Channel Nine or 9Now to watch Drive TV every week – Sunday afternoon at 1pm AEST.
