The Kia Niro is a fully electric small SUV from South Korean brand Kia.

It comes in two trim levels in Australia: Niro EV S and Niro EV GT-Line. Both feature a single electric motor that sends 150kW/255Nm exclusively to the front wheels.

An onboard 64.8kWh battery enables a 460km claimed driving range. Its maximum DC charging rate is 350kW, which results in an official 10 to 100 per cent charging time of 43 minutes.

Charging with an 11kW AC wall box at home from 10 to 100 per cent takes approximately 6h 20min.
