South Australian driver busted driving at 162km/h in a Holden Barina

A 23-year-old male driver from South Australia was busted earlier this week clocking 162km/h on the Riverina Highway in NSW.

Piloting a Holden Barina, the young man reportedly showed remorse when first pulled over by police. Read the full story here.


Major highway in Queensland to introduce point-to-point speed cameras

New point-to-point cameras will be put into place along one of Brisbane’s busiest stretches of motorway.

Motorists will need to keep a close eye on their speed on a 9km stretch of the Gateway Motorway (also known as the M1) – however they won’t be installed until 2023. Check out the full story here.

Tesla sales figures fall in July

Electric car giant Tesla has suffered a sales drop for July, with just four cars sold for the month – attributed to major stock shortages.

New car sales increase in July

The Australian new car market has seen its first slight increase of 0.4 per cent, following three consecutive months of decline.

New-car sales data published by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) last week reported 84,461 new passenger cars, SUVs and commercial vehicles as sold in July 2022. Read the story here.
