2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe recalled in Australia
The driver’s side window divider could detach, according to the recall notice.
Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled four examples of its 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe, citing a potential fault with the driver’s side window divider.
The recall affects four of the 102 examples of the two-door Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupes reported as sold so far this year.
The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “Due to a manufacturing issue, the window divider on the right rear side could become loose and may detach from the vehicle while driving.
“If the window divider becomes detached from the vehicle while driving, it will increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users.”
