2020-2021 Isuzu D-Max recalled in Australia

The fault could cause the vehicle’s roller tonneau cover to come loose whilst driving.

Isuzu Ute Australia has recalled 7106 examples of its 2020-2021 Isuzu D-Max X-Terrain models, citing a potential fault with the vehicle’s roller tonneau cover.

Relating specifically to D-Max X-Terrain variants only, the count of 7106 affected vehicles suggests nearly all X-Terrain variants sold by Isuzu in Australia since launch are affected.

The recall notice, lodged with the Department of Infrastructure, says: “Due to a manufacturing issue, the roller tonneau front cover screws may become loose and fall out. If this occurs the tonneau front cover may detach from the vehicle while driving.
