The Renault Kangoo ZE is one of the oldest electric models with a modern-day lithium-ion battery, with more than 50,000 sold around the world since it was released in 2011. The handy utility van, based on the combustion engine Renault Kangoo Maxi diesel, has room for two and a cargo volume of 4000 litres.
The Kangoo ZE is available in long-wheelbase form with the battery stored under the cargo floor.

Renault is updating the Kangoo ZE with the next-generation Kangoo E-Tech Electric. It has a 45kWh battery and 300km of driving range, and will be available in the European market in April. The Renault Kangoo E-Tech Electric is expected to arrive in Australia at the end of 2022.
