2018 Aston Martin Vantage to be revealed November 21
The next-generation Aston Martin Vantage has been confirmed for a November 21 reveal, with the British marque posting yet another teaser on social media.
Unlike the previous sneak peeks at its upcoming sports car, Aston Martin has chosen to use an image of a wolf’s eyes, accompanied by the hashtags #NewVantage and #BeautifulWontBeTamed – no doubt hinting at an attractive design combined with predator-like performance.
Details about the new Vantage are few and far between, though we do know that the new model will borrow heavily from James Bond’s DB10 in terms of design.
Expected powertrains include the 375kW/675Nm 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 sourced from Mercedes-AMG, while an in-house 447kW/700Nm 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 is also likely to join the range at some point.
In recent weeks Aston Martin has teased both the front and rear of the new Vantage, though its lines have been concealed by a semi-transparent sheet – such a tease.
The company also previewed its GTE racing version (above) distinguishable by its massive rear wing.
Additionally, we’ve seen camouflaged prototypes (above) doing rounds, showing that it will indeed look a lot like the DB10 (below).
Stay tuned to CarAdvice for our coverage of the new Aston Martin Vantage’s reveal on November 21.
