With most of the team is in Germany getting ready for next week’s Frankfurt motor mhow, it’s Mandy Turner and Dave Zalstein in the studio this week.

Speaking of Frankfurt, the Mercedes-Benz EQ A concept and AMG Project One hypercar have been previewed, along with the 2018 Seat Leon Cupra R. Mike Stevens is in Tokyo and files a report on the reveal of the 2018 Nissan Leaf.

Back home, the new Holden ‘Calais’ has been spied testing in Victoria, the first customer fleet of the 2018 Honda Civic Type R arrives, and Toyota celebrates 54 years of local manufacturing with a Commemorative Edition Camry.

Alborz Fallah drives the Lexus LFA and we hear what its screaming V10 engine sounds like. He also reviews the next-generation Mazda Skyactiv-X compression-ignition petrol engine.

Mike Costello discusses the new car sales figures for August, with some records broken.

Australian historic racing car driver, Ron Goodman, wins the Rolex Motorsport event at Monterey, and lives a dream.
