2018 Holden Captiva updates announced

The lightly revised 2018 Holden Captiva range has arrived, bringing minor specification changes across the line-up.

Seven seats are now standard across the range, with the outgoing model’s five-seat option now dropped. That also means the two entry-level five-seat LS variants have been axed from the range, bringing the starting price for the Captiva to $30,490 before on-road costs for the seven-seat LS automatic.

The value-focused Active edition also returns for the new model year, but the real news is that you can now purchase a MY17-plate Captiva Active for $27,990 drive-away, including features like seven leather-appointed seats, a rear-view camera, along with the company’s MyLink touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For this weekend, as part of the company’s ‘100 Hour Sale’, the Captiva Active is also being offered with seven years of roadside assistance and lifetime capped-price servicing.

Specifications and pricing otherwise remained unchanged for the 2018 model year.

The five-seat Captiva will be succeeded by the all-new Equinox later this year, while the seven-seat Captiva will be replaced by the Acadia in 2018.

Cheers to Jordan for the tip!
