2018 Audi Q7 e-tron pricing and specs
The all-new Audi Q7 e-tron is heading to Australia and will kick off locally with a starting price of $139,900, before on-road costs.
The Q7 e-tron occupies a unique space in the market as the only diesel plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). It also boasts a meaty powertrain, mated to the brand’s coveted 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine.
Consuming just 1.9L/100km on the combined cycle, the Q7 e-tron emits just 49g of CO2 per kilometre, with an ability to drive on electric power alone for up to 56km.
Sitting beneath the boot floor is a 17.3kWh lithium-ion battery system that can be fully charged within 2.5 hours, or around 10 hours if using a domestic charger.
The battery system beneath the floor means that the Q7 e-tron is strictly a five seater, with the seven-seat floor space now used to store batteries.
Under the bonnet is a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 190kW of power and 600Nm of torque, while an electric motor contributes 94kW of power and 350Nm of torque, producing a combined system output of 275kW of power and 700Nm of torque.
The Q7 e-tron will sprint from 0-100km/h in just 6.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 230km/h, capable of travelling in full EV mode at speeds of up to 135km/h.
Inside the cabin, expect to a see a comprehensive suite of features, including:
