2017 Mini Seven special edition arrives in Australia
The 2017 Mini Seven special edition range has arrived in Australia this week, a year after it was originally revealed, bringing a host of extras for a relatively small price increase.
Available as an option package on all Mini three-door and five-door models from now until July 31, the Seven special edition adds around $7000 in additional specification for a $2000 increase over the base car.
For the extra spend, the special-edition Seven package includes the choice of Lapis Luxury Blue, Midnight Black, British Racing Green or Pepper White exterior paints with contrasting mirror caps, roof and bonnet stripes in Melting Silver, along with Malt Brown pinstripes and ‘Seven 7’ chrome side scuttles.
Other additions include 17-inch two tone alloy wheels (Cooper and Cooper D) or 18-inch rims (Cooper S), a John Cooper Works rear spoiler in Melting Silver and a panoramic sunroof (Cooper S).
Inside, the special edition gets ‘Seven 7’ branding on the door sills and centre instrument surround, while other upgrades include the Multimedia Essentials package – which adds navigation, visual boost media interface, a rear-view camera and bluetooth audio streaming – and cloth/leather upholstery in Carbon Black with Malt Brown detailing.
Additionally, Cooper S Seven models get Carbon Black ‘Mini Yours’ leather and a Mini Yours leather steering wheel.
Based on current Mini Hatch pricing, pricing for the Seven special edition kicks off at $29,400 for the Cooper Seven three-door manual, stretching to $44,450 for the automatic-equipped five-door Cooper S Seven.
