Volkswagen Touareg Adventure limited edition on sale from $79,990
The 2017 Volkswagen Touareg Adventure special edition is now on sale in Australia, priced from $79,990 before on-road costs.
Based on the V6 180TDI variant, the Touareg Adventure is powered by – as the name suggests – a 180kW550Nm 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and is pitched at buyers who want an SUV that’s as at home “in the high street as the high country”.
Standard equipment includes 19-inch ‘Salvador’ alloy wheels, unique bi-xenon headlights, ‘Vienna’ leather seat upholstery, adaptive cruise control, front assist with city-speed autonomous emergency braking (AEB), along with roof racks. Adjustable air suspension is also fitted as standard.
Volkswagen is also offering a range of towing and touring accessory packs for customers, while just four paint colours are available; Pure White, Canyon Grey Metallic, Deep Black Pearl and Sand Gold Metallic – the latter exclusive to this special-edition model.
The Volkswagen Touareg Adventure is available to order now, with first deliveries arriving in May.
